Aira raises €145 million
Aira, a company based in Stockholm, Sweden, has successfully raised €145 million in a Series B financing round led by prominent climate tech investors from Europe, the US, and Asia.
The European Commission has published a set of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help companies and stakeholders implement the new sustainability reporting requirements under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). The CSRD significantly expands the number of companies required to provide sustainability disclosures, based on detailed reporting standards covering environmental, social and governance factors.
The FAQ aims to reduce administrative burden, provide clarity and ensure comparability of reported information. Key topics include scope, compliance timelines, auditing requirements and considerations for using estimates in value chain data. The publication reflects the EU’s focus on usability and effectiveness of its sustainable finance framework while minimizing burden on companies.
