The European Commission’s LIFE Programme is seeking proposals for projects that aim to bring green ideas to life and address environmental and climate challenges. The programme has a budget of €571 million for 2024 and is open to applicants from across the EU and in third countries.
The LIFE Programme has been funding projects since 1992 and has co-financed over 5,500 projects to date. The programme supports projects in various areas, including nature and biodiversity, circular economy and quality of life, climate change mitigation and adaptation, clean energy transition, New European Bauhaus, and environmental governance.
Interested applicants can find all the necessary information and instructions on how to submit their proposals on the European Commission’s funding & tender opportunities portal. The LIFE Programme is hosting virtual info days from 23-26 April 2024 to guide potential applicants through the process.
